1. Who We Are

TrainerPro is a personal training management platform operated by Miguel Pontes, an individual based in Portugal ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at suporte@trainerprotool.com.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use TrainerPro:

Account data: your name and email address when you register.
Usage data: subscription status, plan type, number of AI reports generated.
Payment data: processed exclusively by Stripe. We never store credit card details.
Preferences: weight unit (kg/lbs), currency, language, dark/light mode.

3. Data Entered by Trainers (Client Data)

TrainerPro is a tool used by personal trainers to manage their own clients. Any data entered about a trainer's clients — including names, health conditions, session notes, exercise loads and medical alerts — is entered by the trainer and stored securely in our database (Supabase).

In this context, the personal trainer acts as the data controller for their clients' personal data. TrainerPro acts as a data processor on behalf of the trainer. Trainers are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their own clients before entering their personal data into TrainerPro.

We do not access, sell, share or use your clients' personal data for any purpose other than providing the TrainerPro service to you.

4. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the TrainerPro service.
To process your subscription and payments via Stripe.
To generate AI reports using Anthropic's Claude API. Session data is sent to the API to generate the report and is not stored by Anthropic beyond the request.
To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset) via Resend.
To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Supabase servers with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — each trainer can only access their own data. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, you may request deletion of all your data by emailing suporte@trainerprotool.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under EU law, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your data (right to be forgotten).
Export your data in a portable format.
Object to processing of your data.
